March 10, 7:30PM Five young virtuosos of Slovakia present “Greetings from Slovakia” at Frostburg State University’s Performing Arts Center as they perform classical music, famous melodies and Slovak Folk Music in traditional costumes. The group highlights eleven year old violin virtuoso and singer, Anabela Patkolo, winner of many international competitions, as well as: Alena Vacikova, soprano, Soloist of the State Opera in Banska Bysrica; Patrik Hornak, tenor, clarinetist, and recording artist; Jana Ferikova, who performs throughout Europe; and Igor Loskar, Baritone. Each of the musicians have performed internationally and won numerous well established international musical competitions. World Artists Experiences presents this concert in partnership with the Embassy of Slovakia and in cooperation with Heritage Baptist Church in Annapolis. The concert is free and open to the public, no tickets needed. Donations are appreciated and are used to defray expenses.
