  All Day Groundhog Day - Cumberland   Celebrate Groundhog Day with Western Maryland Murray! There will be plenty of activities and many downtown businesses will be running specials for this event.
Activities at 6:00am include polka music and dancing, and activities for children on the Arts Bus. Western Maryland Murray makes his appearance at approximately 7:22am.
Kids and families can have their photo taken with Murray after his famous weather prediction, and you can continue the theme of the day at the Washington Street library with a special Groundhog Day themed story hour (10:00am) and the movie "Groundhog Day" at 1:00pm.

  2:00PM 4:00PM Landes Arts Center Event   The Landes Arts Center in Petersburg WV. The exhibit opens on Saturday, February 2, at 2 p.m. with a catered reception, music by the Petersburg High School ensemble, and a wide variety of visual arts on display for your enjoyment. Over 22 artists from the area are participating including young adults from Petersburg High School. After the reception, the exhibit will be open on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon, on Sunday afternoons from 2-4 p.m. and on Wednesday evenings from 4-8 pm. info: 304-257-4891
 
  4:30PM 11:55PM 6th Annual Robert Burns Supper   The Grand Scottish Rite Freemason's, Knights of Saint Andrew will host their 6th annual Robert Burns Supper in the Ali Ghan Shrine Club. Social hour begins at 4:30 pm with fiddle play Hannah Livinston. A traditional Scottish supper will begin after the ceremony at 5:30 pm and will consist of Scottish Haggis, shepherds pie and bangers or stuffed chicken breast. The supper is a traditional Scottish kilt attire or semi formal attire for Scots and non Scots, alike, with John Durrant, an Old World Trubador performing during supper and a river dance performance by the Cross Road Cloggers to conclude the Knights of Saint Andrews "Robert Burns Supper." Dinner will be $30 per person and proceeds will benefit the Scottish Rite Freemason's local language disorders clinic at the League, A Children's Place of Cumberland. (301) 729-4156.
 
  7:30PM 9:30PM FSU Free Concert   World Artists’ Experiences’ next free concert will be the Merlin Ensemble Trio from Vienna, Austria. It will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at 7:30pm at Frostburg State University’s Performing Arts Center, in Pealer Recital Hall. All WAE concert are free, although donations are appreciated.
